Berhe Gebrehiwot was born and raised in Tegeren Eritrea. He went to Adi Keih Elementay School which is seven kilo meters away from Tegeren. He continued his secondary school education in Asmara. He earned his BA degree in Accounting from the Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He worked in Lion Insurance and then in the Ethiopian Insurance Corporation in different positions, Chief Accountant, Control manager, and Regional manager. He came to the United States at the end of the 1990. He worked as an accountant in The First Church of Christ, Scientist for sixteen years. At present Berhe is the president of Senai Foundation.
